• During the construction of the Marinići roundabout in the settlement of Marinići, 240 metres of sanitary sewage and 180 metres of water supply pipeline were built. The total value of the works was almost HRK 990,000.00.
• At the intersection of Škurinjska cesta and Osječka Streets, as part of the reconstruction of the intersection, a 300-metre-long sanitary sewage was built. The investment value is almost HRK 496,000.00.
• In the area of the settlement of Martinkovac, as part of the improvement of the road, a 200-metre-long relief sewage was built. The investment value is slightly more than HRK 1,305,000.00.
Rijeka, 7 April 2022 – The new stage of operations in the “Improvement of the water communal infrastructure – Rijeka Agglomeration” project co-financed by the European Union from the Cohesion Fund has been announced. The set of works entitled “Viškovo Expansion” will include the construction of a waste water drainage system and water supply system in the area of Viškovo Municipality (the settlement of Marinići) and the City of Rijeka.
To mark the 29th World Water Day on Monday 21 March 2022, the director of the utility company Vodovod i kanalizacija d.o.o., Mr Andrej Marochini, and the mayor of Rijeka, Mr Marko Filipović, officially opened the exhibition at the main promenade Korzo entitled “The Importance of Preserving Water Resources for the Future: Project “Improvement of the water communal infrastructure – Rijeka Agglomeration”.
Rijeka, 28 December 2021 – A contract on the construction of a wastewater treatment plant at the Delta location was signed at the Ceremonial Hall of the Sugar Refinery Palace, as part of the HRK 1.76 billion project “Improvement of the water communal infrastructure – Rijeka Agglomeration” co-financed by the European Union from the Cohesion Fund.
