In the continuation of the works, as soon as favorable weather conditions are achieved, temporary traffic signals of phase 2b will be installed. This phase will include the execution of works on the two inner traffic lanes at the intersection of Zvonimirova Street, Vinko Bence Street and the main entrance to ZTC, while the outer lanes will be used for traffic flow. Traffic will take place with special regulation to ensure the safety of all participants.
The announced works are a continuation of the works on the transport collectors started in Liburnijska street, and are being carried out as part of the EU project “Improvement of the water communal infrastructure – Rijeka Agglomeration”, work group A, subsystem A2.
The newly installed transport collectors, including the pumping stations “CS Dražička” and “CS Kantrida”, will drain sanitary waste water from already built sanitary collectors in the subject area, which are currently connected to the mixed drainage system, to the location of the new waste water treatment plant (UPOV) on Delta.
We ask citizens for their understanding and invite them to respect the posted traffic signals so that traffic can proceed safely and without delays.
