This is the second in a series of meetings with representatives of Local Committees, the first of which was organized in the Local Committee of Brašćine-Pulac on Friday, March 3, 2023.
In addition to representatives of the Client, contractors and project management, the meeting was attended by the President of the Local Board Robert Urek, councilors and the secretary.
At the meeting, this year’s dynamic construction plan was presented with the planned start and completion of construction works, which will include Bačići, Murini, A. B. Šimića, V. Čerine, Tonžino, Košićevac streets as part of the D8-2.1 SRDOČI-GRBCI subsystem and Mate Balote street as part of the D4- 1.1 SANITARY WASTEWATER DRAINAGE SYSTEM OF RUBEŠI-MARTINKOVAC CITY AREA SANITARY COLLECTOR RUBEŠI-DIONICA 3.
In view of the large number of dead-end and one-way streets that can cause difficulties in traffic, it was agreed at the meeting that the contractor will approach the construction works in such a way that alternative directions will always be enabled for unhindered vehicle traffic.
Also, in the decree on the construction of the sanitary waste water drainage system of the Rubeši-Martinkovac city area, and that for the zone of the Martinkovac settlement, it was agreed that only after a traffic solution is found, construction works will begin to ensure citizens access to the settlement and their houses.
In conclusion, the representatives of the Local Board have been made available the contact telephone numbers of the Client’s authorized representatives and representatives of the contractors in order to provide feedback as quickly as possible and to facilitate coexistence with the multi-month construction works, upon completion of which citizens will have access to a safer and cleaner drainage and water supply system, which will increase the quality of life in community, contribute to the protection of human health and the preservation of the environment.
