On Tuesday, March 19, 2024, in Avelina Turka Street, work began on the construction of the water and utility infrastructure as part of the work group C “Construction of drainage system – Rijeka Expansion”, subsystem C.0.3. Kantrida Zamet.
During the works, due to the insufficient width of the roadway, the street will be closed to all traffic. A pedestrian passage will be established, and tenants will be able to access the gardens via fenced ramps placed on trenches. Vehicle traffic can be detoured through the Bože Vidasa and Ivana Čikovića Belog streets.
Prior to the start of the works, notices about the start of the works were delivered to the citizens’ mailboxes.
The mentioned traffic regulation takes place on the basis of the Traffic Elaboration, i.e. Consent for the establishment of temporary traffic regulation issued by the competent road manager. In case of need, the contractor is obliged to enable the unhindered passage of emergency services.
