In Vjekoslav Dukića Street, 300 m of sanitary sewerage and 240 m of water pipe will be built, as well as 205 m of sanitary sewer and 205 m of water pipe, at the intersection with Toma Strižića Street, financed as part of the EU project “Improvement of the water communal infrastructure – Rijeka Agglomeration”.
Value of works KD Vodovod i kanalizacija d.o.o. amounts to EUR 806,889.56.
In order to carry out construction works on the construction of the drainage system the reconstruction of the water supply network and the construction of the rotor, the period until November 19, temporary traffic regulation will be established in the area of Toma Strižića and Vjekoslav Dukića streets.
As a result of these construction works, traffic in Toma Strižića Street will be regulated alternately with a free traffic lane using construction traffic lights, while Vjekoslav Dukića Street will be temporarily re-regulated to a one-way street (northwest-southeast direction), which will make it impossible to turn from Toma Strižića Street to Vjekoslav Dukića Street. Vehicle traffic will be diverted via Ivana Matljana Street, which will be re-regulated into a one-way street (east-west direction) and via University Avenue.
