This section will be the site of works to install the control and monitoring system (CMS). During the works, the road will be closed to all traffic, and parking spaces on this section of the road will be temporarily closed for a period of 3 weeks. Upon completion of the works on this section, the installation will continue towards the intersection with Ribarska Street, which will completely complete the reconstruction of the infrastructure on Gupčeva Street.
We are aware that the previous works have caused inconvenience, especially for business owners, and we thank everyone for their understanding and patience. We ask citizens to respect the temporary traffic regulations, to use alternative routes and not to park vehicles on the part of the street affected by the works.
The project of improving and reconstructing the water and communal infrastructure of Adamićeva Street is crucial for the improvement of the sanitary drainage system of the city of Rijeka. The construction of the main collector, which will be connected to the collector in Krešimirova Street, will enable efficient routing of wastewater to the new wastewater treatment plant (UPOV) on the Delta. This significantly improves environmental protection, solves problems with dilapidated installations, and raises the quality of life of citizens and businesses in this area.
