The works will be conducted in the two southern traffic lanes, while the traffic will take place on both sides in the two northern traffic lanes in accordance with the Traffic Elaboration, i.e. the Consent for the establishment of temporary traffic regulation issued by the competent road manager. The announced completion of the works is by May 14, 2024, taking into account possible weather conditions.
The works in Zvonimirova Street are a continuation of those transport sewage that started in Liburnijska Street, and are being carried out as part of work group A, subsytem A2 “Transport sewage: Zamet area (sewer “Z1“) Kantrida area (sewer “K1“), pumping station “Dražička“ and pumping station “Kantrida“.
The new transport sewers will convey sanitary wastewater to the location of the new wastewater treatment plant (UPOV) on Delta.
Investments in water communal infrastructure will achieve European standards in managinig municipal wastewater, increase connection to public sewage (from current 75% to 92%), therby reducing the number of septic tanks, improve the functioning of the existing public drainage system, reduce water losses and enhance waer supply quality.
