At this stage, preparatory activities are underway which include delivery of materials and installation of traffic signs, without any groundwork at this time. Traffic in the above streets will be permitted until February 9, 2026, when works on the subject section will start.
Works will be carried out in phases, with streets closed to all traffic in accordance with the Temporary Traffic Regulation Plan, starting from Kablarska cesta near house number 39. Residents and users of the affected streets have been informed of the works via written notices.
During the execution of the works, temporary changes to KD Autotrolej bus services will be in place:
- Line 5A will be extended from Petrca to Kablarska cesta 39, where it will terminate at a temporary turning point.
- Line 5B will be shortened to Kablar and will turn at the intersection of Kablarska cesta.
Bus connections between the mentioned sections will not be possible during this period. After completion of works on this short section, once the next phase of excavation towards Drenova begins, traffic and bus routes will operate via diversion, about which the public will be informed in due time.
The anticipated completion of the works is by April 15, 2026, provided there are no unforeseen circumstances.
