The initial works include the removal of the asphalt layer in the width required for the excavation of the canal, along with the temporary complete closure of the subject section of the roadway for motor vehicle traffic.
At the junction of Portić Street and Istarska Street, a sign with a “dead end” sign and additional information about the passability of the rest of the section will be installed. Traffic will be redirected to the eastern approach (Pulska Street), and a safe corridor for pedestrians will be provided.
Works on Section I will begin on June 30, 2025, followed by gradual progress through Sections II, III, IV and V. The planned completion of the works is October 6, 2025.
