The works will be carried out in six sections, in the first section, with a length of 480 m, covers the area from INA petrol station to the Novi list building.
During the construction works, a new temporary traffic regulation will be introduced. In the first phase of the first section, two southern traffic lanes will be closed, and traffic will be diverted to the northern side of the pavement. Traffic in both directions will be reduced from two lanes to a single alternating lane, with a temporary deviation from the Krnjevo – City Center direction, in accordance with the approved traffic management plan.
The completion of works is planned for the end of July 2026.
By constructing this transport sewage, which forms part of the system collecting wastewater from the area of Kastav and the wester part of Rijeka to the new wastewater treatment plant at Delta, the previously constructed section in Zvonimirova Street will be connected with the sections in Krešimirova and Adamićeva Streets.
