As part of the A4 subsystem, the construction of transport collectors and the Rikard Benčić rain spillway and the construction of a pumping station at the Railway Station are planned. The construction of the drainage system and supporting infrastructure is part of the EU project of the agglomeration of Rijeka, which is financed by grants from the European Union in the amount of HRK 1.25 billion.
The deadline for the completion of works on the subsystem A4 “Railway Station” has been extended.
Due to encountering existing underground installations that were not recorded and specified in the main project, and the impossibility of accessing part of the construction site at the location of the former industrial complex Rikard Benčić due to the completion of the works by another contractor, „Zajednica bidderelja Godina d.o.o.“ and „Inkaing d.o.o.“ the deadline for the completion of works on the subsystem A4 “Railway Station” is extended.
With a 29-day extension granted, the new deadline for completion is November 24, 2022.
