The majority of the contracted equipment was delivered, and its value is slightly less than 658 thousand EUR and refers to:
– a vehicle for inspecting the integrity of public sewage structures (a van equipped with a sewage pipe recording system),
– mobile water pumps (1,300 l/min and 750 l/min) which are used for repumping and redirecting the flow in the canals,
– an electric generator up to 10 kW for powering the existing facilities and tools, serving as a backup in case of power outages at pumping stations,
– a transport vehicle with a load capacity of up to 3.5 t for loading and transporting materials, commercial vehicles for transporting equipment, workers and materials (five out of a total of seven vehicles were delivered).
The remaining equipment includes four special vehicles for mechanical cleaning of sewage system, one transport vehicle with a load capacity of 1 and two more commercial vehicles, expected to be delivered by the middle of next year.
We are pleased that valuable equipment was delivered in a relatively short period of time, the total contracted value of which is EUR 2,135,440.97. The acquired equipment is in line with the latest technological solutions that enable safe and efficient work and will certainly improve the quality of water service provision and raise the communal and living standards of residents in the area of the Rijeka Agglomeration, said Andrej Marochini, director of KD VODOVOD I KANALIZACIJA d o o.
The contract for the purchase of equipment was concluded at the end of February this year. The equipment supplier is the company CNM & Co. doo, with a delivery period of 18 months.
