On Monday, April 29, preparatory work will begin in the streets Mario Gennario, Anton Kosić Rik, Giuseppe Carabino and Ivekovićeva Street on the construction of water and utility infrastructure as part of work group C “Construction of the drainage system – Rijeka Expansion”, subsystem C.0.1. Pehlin Turnić.
The contractor, GP Krk d.d., has delivered an information leaflet to the citizens in the mailboxes of the streets affected by the works. The users will be informed in a timely manner about any possible changes in the dynamics of the execution of the works so that they are up to date with the progress of the project and so that they can plan their activities in time.(Uređeno)Vrati izvorni tekst
During the execution of the works, temporary regulation of traffic is introduced depending on the sections of the works, as follows:
- Section I – a traffic ban is introduced, and a pedestrian crossing is provided on the south side of the roadway.
- Section II – the construction route (western side of the surface) is fenced off with a road fence. Traffic is ensured through parking areas where a parking ban is introduced.
- Section III – ban on road and pedestrian traffic is introduced. Pedestrian access to G. Carabino Street is possible by a staircase. Further passage is possible by existing footpaths and fenced ramps laid across the trench.
- Section IV – is carried out in two stages. Traffic will take place alternately with the regulation of traffic lights. Pedestrians will be able to pass through the existing sidewalks
This traffic regulation takes place on the basis of the Traffic Elaboration, i.e. Consent for the establishment of temporary traffic regulation issued by the competent road manager. In case of need, the contractor is obliged to enable the unhindered passage of emergency services.
We thank all citizens for their patience and understanding. We invite them to monitor the progress of the works, as well as the announced changes in traffic regulation for their own safety, as well as that of all others involved in traffic.
