Works in the mentioned streets will be preformed as part of subsystem D8 2.1. SUBSYSTEM SRDOČI – GRBCI, and already on Thursday, July 6, 2023, the contractor will start prepartory work with the machine on green surface.
This project envisages the construction of a network of new sanitary sewer collectors and the reconstruction and construction of water supply pipelines, which will significantly improve communal and living standards of the residents of this area, and to ensure to protect human helth and protect the environment.
Work group D foresees the construction of a sewage system in the area of the town of Kastav (historic centre of old town of Kastav, Spinčići, Brnini, Belići, Tometići, Donji Rubeši, Donji Čikovići, Brestovice, Tuhtani) and the City of Rijeka (Srdoči, Martinkovac). At the same time, the reconstruction of the water supply system on certain sections will be carried out. Parallel with the Project, the construction of the water supply system in part of the streets without public water supply in the City of Rijeka and the town of Kastav is also planned, which will be financed from local funds.
The contractor is GP KRK d.o.o., while the provider of the supervision service is a group of providers comprising INSTITUT IGH d.d., EPTISA ADRIA d.do.o., FLUM-ING d.o.o. and PROJEKT d.d. Nova Gorica.
We emphasize that the contractor in the streets that are directly affected by the execution of the works delivered an information leaflet to citizens via mailboxes, and users will be informed in a timely manner about any possible changes in the dynamics of the execution of the works in order to be up to date with the progress of the project and to be able to plan their activities on time.
